Rocky Sobon: I'm Rocky Sobon - I'm Rocky fuckin' Sobon!
RJ: What kind of gear are using? (guitar, amps, effects).
RS: My guitar is an LTD Les Paul EC-400. Dropped EMG’s in that bitch! (the 81 & 85). I play through a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier – Running a Boss Flanger, Noise Suppressor, and Chromatic Tuner. I also have a Line 6 Spider III that I use sometimes and I took a couple presets on it and tweaked ‘em so they don’t have that factory feel on them.
RJ: What's your dream gear set up?
RS: I’m pretty happy with what I have right now. Although, I’m always adding shit to it, so I guess the first part was a lie. Maybe putting a full bar with b-b-q and hot cocktail waiteresses behind my amps – that would be pretty badass!
RJ: Who sucks and why?
RS: Collar-poppin’ broskies and those fags who wear flat-billed hats without taking the sticker off!
RJ: Who is the hottest chick (or dude) you have banged? Please include photo or artist rendering if possible.
RS: Well, the videos I had are in my old phone, and that fucker got smashed.
RJ: Who would you like to bang?
RS: Christina Ricci and Brittany Murphy! (at the same time) Fuck yeah!!
RJ: What would you like to do before you overdose or die in a firey plane crash?
RS: Skydive while doing Christina & Brittany, getting it on tape and selling it on the internet.
RJ: Why haven't you done it yet?
RS: Gotta take ‘em out to dinner first. Still working on that.
RJ: Tell us about someone famous who was cool.
RS: I would have to say Gene Simmons. I was 11 at the time. He was the first rock star I ever met and he was so cool to me! He signed anything I asked him to, took pictures, all that good stuff. Dimebag is another one – everything that everyone says about him is true – totally down to earth, really cool and appreciative of his fans.
RJ: Tell us about someone famous who can eat a dick.
RS: Carson Daly!
RJ: If you had a million dollars, what would you do?
RS: Besides 2 chicks at the same time? Get more gear, the new Camaro and open my own church called “The Church of Rockyism”

Nothing is really original these days. Just about everything’s been done. As an artist, I’m usually always looking for ways to grow and be inspired by something.
RJ: In your opinion, why is David Lee Roth the greatest front man ever?
RS: Seriously? I would have to say because of his groupie-incentive program. I don't know of anyone else who did that. If any of y'all out there don't know what I'm talking about, look it up! It's legendary!!

RJ: Who is you greatest influence? Musically then morally.
RS: Musically I would say James Hetfield, Dimebag Darrell, and Gene Simmons. Morally – Definitely not Jesus!
RJ: Do you believe in God? Why or why not?
RS: Not really.
RJ: Is religion a tool created and maintained by the 5% of the population to control the other 95%?
RS: Definitely! It’s huge hit in our government system.
